Please take notice that the Glenwood Springs Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider a Location and Extent Review application for the construction of a recycling center on a 15,246 square foot property. The civic facility will include 18 recycling containers, new 6-foot screening fence, gates, asphalt looped driveway, site lighting, security cameras, associated utilities and drainage system, and a 100 square foot attendant hut.

The property is located at located at 106 13th Street (formerly 1300 Pitkin Ave) and is legally described as a tract in the NW ¼ of the NE ¼ Section 16, Township 6, Range 89W Garfield County, Colorado (PIN#2185-161-00-033). The property is zoned RH-residential high density.

The application is submitted by the City of Glenwood Springs Public Works Department and the property is owned by the City of Glenwood Springs.

The public hearing will be held remotely on August 25, 2020 at 6:00 PM.
