ORDINANCE NO. 11

"OFFICIAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on August 10, 2020, the Town Council approved as an emergency measure an Ordinance titled as follows:
AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF SNOWMASS VILLAGE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 8A, SERIES OF 2020 REQUIRING ALL PERSONS UTILIZE FACE COVERINGS WITHIN THE TOWN OF SNOWMASS VILAGE AND ADOPTING MANDATORY FACE COVERING ZONES WITHIN THE TOWN OF SNOWMASS VILLAGE FOR THE IMMEDIATE PRESERVATION OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
The proposed Ordinance requires people in the Town of Snowmass Village to wear face coverings. The Ordinance has been adopted as an emergency measure and, in accordance with the Town Charter, has become effective upon passage.
FIRST READING OF THIS EMERGENCY ORDINANCE WAS APPROVED AT THE REGULAR MEETING ON AUGUST 10, 2020 WITH A MOTION BY COUNCIL MEMBER SHENK, SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER SIRKUS, AND UPON A VOTE OF 5 IN FAVOR AND 0 OPPOSED.
THIS ORDINANCE WILL GO INTO EFFECT ON AUGUST 10, 2020. A COPY OF THIS ORDINANCE IS AVAILABLE IN FULL TEXT FOR PUBLIC REVIEW AT THE SNOWMASS VILLAGE TOWN CLERK'S DEPARTMENT, 130 KEARNS ROAD, SNOWMASS VILLAGE, COLORADO 81615.
