The Summit Fire Authority (Owner) will receive sealed Bids for the construction of the High
Country Training Center Improvements until 2:00 P.M., March 22th, 2021 at the High Country
Training Center located at 225 County Road 1003, Frisco, Colorado 80443, Attention: John Hall,
Chief, at which time bids will be opened publicly. Bids shall be clearly marked "Summit Fire
Authority – High Country Training Center Improvements."

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the High Country Training Center located at 225
County Road 1003, Frisco, Colorado 80443, on March 09th, 2021 at 1:30 P.M. A mandatory tour
of the project location will follow the Pre-Bid Conference.

A non-binding notice of intent to accept a proposed bid is expected to be issued on April 8, 2021.
The work is to commence between the dates of June 14th, 2021 – September 13th, 2021. Once work has been initiated, construction is to be completed within 3 weeks.

Qualification statements and other submittal requirements are outlined in Specification 00310 –
Bid Form of the Project Manual.

The work will include the following:

All necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials to complete the construction of the removal and replacement of the existing asphalt lot at the High Country Training Center. This includes the mill and overlay of specified existing asphalt, trench drain repair, full depth asphalt repair where sever cracking is prevalent, striping, high strength concrete replacement where turning stresses are most common, concrete repair, the relocation of the Conex units for construction operations, and running electrical to the Conex boxes.

Bidding documents and project manual may be obtained by calling (303) 444-1951 for a nonrefundable deposit of $150 via overnight mailing at bidder's expense. Please provide at least 24 hour notice and UPS or FedEx account number if requesting hard copy documents. The Owner designates the following person, as its representative and Point-of-Contact for the Bid process:

No Bid will be received unless accompanied by a cashier's, certified or bank check or a Bid Bond
equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the maximum Bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that
after a Bid is accepted, Bidder will execute and file the Agreement and 100 percent Performance
and Payment Bonds within ten days after the Notice of Award.

Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality or technicality, and to
accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60
days after the time set for opening Bids.
