NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 24, 2021:
Ordinance Approving Industrial Hemp Cultivation Land Use Code Amendments;
Amendments to the Land Use Code to establish cultivation of industrial hemp as a land use contingent upon special review approval in the Agricultural/Residential-10 Acre zone district (AR-10), Resource-20 Acre zone district (RS-20), Resource-30 Acre zone district (RS-30), Low Impact Residential-35 Acre zone district (LIR-35), Resource-35 Acre zone district (RS-35) and Resource-160 Acre zone district (RS-160). Industrial hemp cultivation is prohibited in all other zone districts. The amendments establish criteria, standards, requirements and administration for industrial hemp cultivation.
