SUMMIT COUNTY GOVERNMENT SUMMIT COUNTY, COLORADO INVITATION TO BID Summit County Open Space and Trails is receiving sealed Bids for Summit County Project: Removal of Avalanche Debris to Reopen the Tenmile Canyon Recpath Between Frisco and Copper Mountain. This project includes removal of approximately 5,900 linear feet of avalanche debris from the 12 foot-wide paved portions and 3 foot lateral clearance zone of the Summit County Recreational Pathway in Tenmile Canyon (Recpath). Said sealed bids will be received at the office of the Summit County Open Space and Trails Department by email, or at 0037 SCR 1005, Peak One Drive, Frisco, Colorado until 11:00 AM MST on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Refer to the RFP for additional information. A pre-bid meeting will be held on-site at Officer's Gulch on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. MST. Interested parties are asked to meet at the Officer's Gulch parking lot on the east side of the I-70 interchange. At said time and place, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder who best meets the requirements of Summit County and the public interest. Interested bidders may obtain copies of Invitation to Bid on the "Bids and RFP" page of the Summit County website: http://www.summitcountyco.gov/bids.aspx. The Summit County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities or informalities, and to conduct such investigations or negotiations as it deems necessary to select the most responsible and responsive bid.
